Andrew MacAllan is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Manufacturing section
of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Following the successful completion
of an apprenticeship in toolmaking he developed his career in jig and tool design,
work study and production engineering before entering the field of manufacturing
management. He has directed and managed large organisations in both FMCG and high
volume bespoke products in several business sectors over a 25 year period.
Andrew has been working in the field of business improvement through involvement
of people for the last 12 years, initially with a major UK plc, and since 1996 in
his own practice. He has completed a variety of assignments in a number of different
sectors and is now a recognised specialist in Total Quality Management and the
application of Best Practice initiatives using the Business Excellence Model.
